NATIONAL CORN YIELD CONTEST
The premier event of every corn growing season since 1965, the National Corn Yield Contest (NCYC) offers entrants a chance to explore new ideas and production techniques, while gleaning knowledge to enhance future yield potential. Winners receive national recognition, cash trips or other awards from participating sponsors.
COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIP
NCGA has several scholarship opportunities for members and their children. Sponsored by BASF Corporation, the NCGA Academic Excellence in Agriculture Scholarship Program annually awards five (5) $1,500 one-year scholarships to qualified second-year undergraduate students (or later) enrolled in any degree field at an accredited college or university. In fall 2019, NCGA will begin to offer two new scholarships: five (5) $1,000 scholarships for technical school students and one (1) $2,500 scholarship for a graduate student.
